The Wicker Man
Goblins, the D&D comic that tries to waver between comedy and drama while not really achieving either! It’s unclear what the author wants to do with his “Life Through Their Eyes” tale, sometimes he seems to want to make fun of D&D and at other times inject deadly serious drama into it. This is never a great approach in comics, especially when your writing isn’t strong enough to support it. The story is long, winding and tedious. In the space of three years very little has happened.
It has… baffling art. The titular goblins are drawn with seemingly pointless wobbly lines, but have no texture when they are coloured. The humans are in weird proportions that always seem somewhat off. I think with more training and more time Thunt could do some decent art but until then it will likely hover in a strange “half realised” position.
